In 2015, we made the decision to go with Monsoon as our multicultural ad agency for new routes to India, and North Africa. Five years later, we still believe it was a terrific decision. The Monsoon team have a very collaborative style of working, keeping us involved at all stages of development in strategy, creative and media. They are pro-active beyond belief, often bringing ideas and opportunities to us to review and adopt. Frankly, the Monsoon team never stop thinking about Air Canada. This makes working with them a smooth and seamless process. We can be demanding but Sachi and Ramesh are always there to make sure we remain happy clients.

Early last year, we chose Monsoon for our Newcomers to Canada program and the experience turned out to be one of the highlights of 2019. There were several noticeable differences in the way they approached the challenge.  First, they took complete charge from day one and never let go until the campaign reached completion 9 months later. Secondly, the Monsoon team worked very closely with us at all stages of the process – from on-boarding to the evolution of strategy and execution. Their creative was finely-tuned to work strategically across all communities. They played a lead role in media and worked very well with Mediacom as well as our internal Digital Channels and Search teams. Monsoon also presented some great innovative media opportunities like OOH at Drive Test centres in the GTA. What a great way to engage with newcomers at a location they were most likely to visit. CIBC were the first brand to ever advertise at these centres. The Monsoon team was on top of their game, expertly managing all internal stakeholders.

We work in one of Canada’s most competitive categories but Freedom Mobile’s share of market has been going up and up. We depend on our ad agencies to deliver at every level – strategy, planning, creative, media, analytics and, of course, execution.
