Sachi Mukerji
Chief Executive Officer &
Executive Creative Director

‘It all started with a book’, says Sachi Mukerji. “I’d hardly left university when someone gave me a copy of Ogilvy’s Confessions. Halfway through the book, I’d made up my mind. Advertising is where I wanted to be”. And so began Sachi’s career from a junior copywriter to an award winning Creative Director and CEO.

His career spans 4 countries in 4 continents including India, Australia, England and Canada and a reputation for creating work that is strategically strong and based on insights that bring in measurable results. He has been a President, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of agencies in London and Toronto, including BBDO, Grey, DMB&B and Yellowhammer.

In 2010, Sachi turned his focus to starting a multicultural agency that offered the rigorous strategic disciplines followed by mainstream agencies. His strategic, creative and presentation skills have played a significant role in developing effective campaigns for clients as well as building the agency’s overall growth in the last 10 years. Sachi is responsible for building one of the strongest agency teams in the multicultural category and plays a hands-on role as Monsoon’s principal founder, CEO and Creative Director.

Chris Seguin
Co-Creative Director – Copy

A true copywriting chameleon, there’s little in the industry that Chris hasn’t done – broadcast, print, mass, response, promotions, social, websites, whitepapers, whatever. He’s served as creative lead at major agencies on some of their bluest blue chip accounts, including RBC Royal Bank, Mastercard (Global), Rogers Media, LoyaltyOne and more.

Over time his career became increasingly CRM focused, driven by the three Rs: Results/Revenue/Repeat. Awards are nice, but numbers are nicer, and Chris’ aim always is to deliver smart creative that channels the brand’s voice and philosophy in a way that’s relevant and real to the audience, and prompts action.

He’s a keen collaborator, a thoughtful dissector of briefs and has, on more than one occasion, caused clients to ask, “Is he on the account team?”
